Bert Jansch Playing Anji

Bert influenced Simon and Garfunkel, most English and Irish folk players and a young man named Jimmy Page. Page adapted the traditional Irish folk song of Black Waterside as played by Jansch as Led Zeppelin's Black Montainside.

Anji is considered his best and most controversial work as he played it slightly differently that Davey Graham who popularized the tune in the early 60s British folk scene.

RIP Bert Jansch.
