Larry Winget is a financial & personal success author, speaker, & advisor. Guru is you will... I've read his excellent book on personal finance entitled, "Your Broke Because You Want To Be!" & parts of his other books. His blog (http://www.larrywinget.com) is also a good read as it is always informative & entertaining. Larry's primary message is an emphasis on personal responsibility & disdain for excuses. He recently posted the information on obesity below on his Facebook page & I found it so compelling that I had re-post it as it is merely a reflection of poor personal choices in today's society. Here's Larry's post: Larry Winget from my buddy Randy Pennington: "A staggering statistic: in 1986, seven states had an obesity rate of 10-14% and none had a rate above 15%. In 2008, 1 state had an obesity rate of 10-14%. Three states had rates of 15-19% and 46 had rates of 20% or higher. Step away from the buffet and head to the gym, America."
